Just being silly! I don't really believe that 2012 is going to be the year the earth comes to an end, in fact i think it's barely beginning! I know that a lot of friends and family around me have a lot of exciting new stuff on their horizons and my life is no exception. Music wise i am most excited about my new collaborations; I'm forming a duo with "Cornish Legend" Richard Trethewey which is already proving to be very exciting with our mutual love of Westcountry music and song. Looking way ahead (although not really in gigging world) to December 2012; the Mick Ryan Christmas show i am a part of 'Who Stole Christmas' is going to be stepping up a gear with a full tour and accompanying cd with all the fab songs from the show, the perfect Xmas gift!!! And finally i am also extremely excited about my teaming-up with arts management agency Little Brown Dog who will be helping me with my various solo projects including the one i am currently referring to as the "Uncle Charlie" project in which i shall be collaborating with several of my favourite musicians in creating a cd and tour of my distant relative Charles Causley's poetry set to music. So here's to 2012, tell the Mayans to bring it on!
